How UQ Planner emails you when a task you are involved in changes, the Friday weekly summary of your work, and how to turn each kind of email on or off.
UQ Planner keeps you up to date by email: a short digest when tasks you are involved in change, and a weekly summary of your work. There are two switches, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Task update emails
You get an email when, on a task you are involved in:
- the task is created or deleted;
- its title, status, description, assignees, reviewer, labels, type, parent, start or due date, or custom fields change;
- a comment is added, edited or deleted;
- an attachment is added or removed.
Changes are grouped per task: Planner waits until a task has been quiet for 2 minutes (never longer than 10) and then sends one email with everything that changed — so a burst of edits is one email, not twenty.
Who gets them
- the task's assignees,
- the person who created it,
- its reviewer,
- and anyone who was just unassigned (so they know).
You are never emailed about your own changes — including changes made by an AI agent using your API key.
The weekly summary
Every Friday at 17:00 Vietnam time you get one email covering all your organisations: your open tasks, what is overdue, what is due in the next 7 days and what you completed this week.
Turning emails on or off
Open Account → Notifications and use the Task updates and Weekly summary switches. The unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email does the same for that kind of email.
Not receiving emails?
- Check both switches under Account → Notifications.
- Look in spam, and add the sender to your contacts.
- Remember you are not emailed about your own edits, and edits only reach people involved in that task.
- Updates arrive a couple of minutes after the last change, not instantly.
Still stuck?
Email hello@uniqtech.dev with what you tried and, if it is about a task, its key (for example PRO-13). Pro organisations are answered first. Billing questions: see Contact.
